Blue Wave Pools
Custom in-ground pools and spas. Blue Wave keeps crews in one neighborhood at a time, which keeps mobilization cost — and your quote — down.
Pool: what the work involves
A new in-ground pool is excavation, structure, plumbing, electrical, decking and equipment — closer to a small construction project than to an appliance purchase. It is a lifestyle decision, and it carries ongoing cost that the build price does not show.
Questions worth asking before you sign:
- What is excluded from this price — decking, fencing, heater, cover, landscaping repair?
- Who pulls the permits, and does the quote include the code-required safety barrier?
- What is the allowance for rock or unsuitable soil, and how is it priced if you hit it?
- What is the realistic monthly running cost for a pool this size here?
How long it takes: Commonly 2–4 months from breaking ground to swimming, longer on difficult sites or during permit backlogs.

How BlockSun works with providers
Homeowners never pay us. When you ask for a quote, that introduction is what we sell to the provider — which is why your plan and its estimates are free, and why we state it here rather than burying it. It also sets a limit we hold to: a provider cannot pay to change your home's ranking or its numbers, because the ranking is computed from your property. Whoever you contact, check the licence is current and active with the California State License Board, get the scope in writing, and never pay a large deposit up front.

Frequently asked
How does BlockSun choose which provider gets my request?
Requests go to providers who cover the specific project you picked and serve your area. A provider cannot pay to rank higher on your home's plan or to be shown ahead of anyone else — the plan is computed from your property.
Does it cost me anything to request a quote?
No. BlockSun is free for homeowners. We are paid an introduction fee by the provider, which is why the plan and the estimates cost you nothing and why we say so plainly.
What happens after I request a quote?
The provider receives your request with the project and address, contacts you directly, and arranges a site visit to confirm the real number. Nothing is committed until you sign with them.
Can my neighbors and I get a better price together?
Usually yes. A contractor doing several homes on one street shares mobilization, permitting and travel across all of them. That is the whole premise of BlockSun's block pricing.
